Galesburg Cottage Hospital Collecting Cards and Letters for Galesburg Physicians National Doctors’ Day Set for March 30th
(Galesburg, IL) - Healer. Detective. Adviser. Confidante. Comforter. These are among the many roles doctors fulfill each day as they care for patients and their families. Whether it is in a hospital, a clinic, or a long-term care facility, doctors work tirelessly to make sure patients get the care they need.
On March 30, healthcare organizations will celebrate National Doctors’ Day. First observed in Winder, Georgia in 1933, Doctors’ Day honors the contributions physicians make to communities across the country. We, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, are proud to honor the work of more than 100 primary care physicians and specialists on our medical staff.
And so, as Galesburg Cottage Hospital celebrates Doctors’ Day, we recognize all the doctors in the community for their contributions, and we say a special thank you to the members of our medical staff for their dedication to our patients.
Anyone wishing to show their support for their physician on this special day may do so by mailing a card addressed to their physician in C/O Pam Liby Davis, Medical Staff Office, Galesburg Cottage Hospital, 695 North Kellogg Street, Galesburg, Illinois 61401. The cards will be collected and presented to each physician during the annual Physician Luncheon to be held on April 6th.
