Dr. Jaya Attaluri has joined the staff of Cottage Psychiatric Services and will begin seeing patients at GCH on January 1, 2011. She is board certified in psychiatry and has extensive training and experience.

Dr. Attaluri attended medical school at Rangaraya Medical College in India and continued training in the United States at Oak Forest Hospital, Oak Forest, IL, and Kingsboro Psychiatric Center, N.Y., where she served in medical residency programs. She completed a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship the following year at New York University Medical Center in N.Y. Dr. Attaluri previously served as a staff psychiatrist at Zeller Mental Health Center, Peoria and more recently, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

Dr. Attaluri joins the psychiatry practice in association with Denise Dechow, D.O., located in Suite 205 of the Cottage Professional Kellogg Building. She will also be seeing patients in the Older Adult Behavioral Health Center Galesburg Cottage Hospital. Call 309-345-0394 for an appointment.
